Jennifer Hudson Steals the Show
Well, well. The divas of Bill Condon's movie musical Dreamgirls seemed to all get along so well before the buzz on Jennifer Hudson has catapulted her into the frontrunner for Oscar accolades. Beyonce seemed perfectly happy to be working with Jennifer at the outset, but inside reports suggest that all that has changed.
Word is: Jennifer Hudson steals the show and Beyonce is finding herself on the outside looking in. As we enter awards season frenzy, the next few weeks will be crucial. The National Board of Review will announce its bests within a week, and the rest of the critics will follow shortly thereafter. If Jennifer Hudson is named a winner in any of these, well, safe to say it's all oooooovah for Beyonce's "friendship" with her co-star.

You and me both, rc, you and me both. It isn't as if Hollywood (or even independent studios, for that matter) is creating great parts for Black actresses. This could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her on the silver screen and I hope she gets all that she deserves for it.
